Most deposits come back
- You refund it. Relevant messages get released — and that sender is allowlisted for good.
- You release it from the email. The release button travels with the forwarded message, one gesture from the reply you'd write anyway.
- Time refunds it. Anything you never review is refunded in full after 14 days.
A sender only loses the deposit when you review the message and judge it unsolicited — a deliberate decision, taken message by message. How refunds work
Questions
- Is this another inbox to check?
- No. Messages land in your real inbox. You settle each deposit from the email itself — or through your AI assistant over MCP.
- What do senders experience?
- A short note explaining that a refundable deposit places their message in your priority inbox, with a payment link and the automatic refund date.
- What if I never review a message?
- Unreviewed deposits are refunded in full after 14 days, automatically. Senders are never charged by silence.
- Do I get paid?
- When you judge a message unsolicited and claim the deposit, the amount lands in your ledger and is paid out to your connected account.
